CAB Accounts NW Ltd are based in Chorley and Bolton and are an accountancy firm that puts you, our client, first.
We will provide qualified accountancy and business support to allow you the time to make your business grow. We are a modern accountancy firm and we work much more closely with our clients than perhaps some of the traditional accountants. We have set out to offer a competitive accountancy and business service based on our knowledge and experience. We believe that all small businesses should be able to access a suitably qualified and experienced accountant and our accountant business model certainly allows us to offer this service.
We know what it’s like to operate a small to medium sized business and we know that there are enough costs in doing so. Which is why we offer a more affordable and simply cheaper alternative to an expensive high street accountant. We removed the expensive high street location, the fancy decor, the coffee machine and polite receptionist and replaced all of that with the ability and desire to visit clients when requested. Whatever we do for you, we will always carry out our work with the aim of adding value to your business.

I have over 30 years’ experience heading accountancy teams within business, in both the retail and manufacturing sector. I have experience in all aspects of accountancy, which includes preparation of accounts for sole proprietors, limited companies, clubs and associations; dealing with VAT, Book-keeping, Payroll/Auto enrolment, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax.
I prepare management accounts for various small businesses, using QuickBooks, Sage 50 or Excel spreadsheets on a monthly basis, identifying key ratios for assessing business performance.
I am a fellow member of the ACCA and regularly attend their members network meetings and legislation seminars to ensure that I am up to date with company law and regulations and taxation. I am Wigan born and currently live in Bolton.

I am Devon born but have lived in the Manchester area for over 30 years and relocated to Chorley some three years ago.
I have 25 years bookkeeping experience and have spent the last 3 years working in a Tax/Accountancy practice in Chorley.
I look after the bookkeeping, VAT, Payroll, HMRC admin and self-assessment tax returns. I have been self-employed and/or a director of my own business for over 40 years in B2B and direct sales so I believe I can offer sound business opinion when requested.
I enjoy watching all sports and walking my dog along with good company.
